Town Mouse needs to be exceptional. Town Mouse must do fantastic things to say he's exceptional and is a good candidate for grad school in the US. Although the truly exceptional ones are the candidates who have served in Afghanistan/Iraq, Town Mouse being only a reserve officer in a non-combatant army will not turn heads.
But how many race car drivers are there? Town Mouse has thus decided to put together his own racing outfit for the Merdeka Millenium Endurance race in 2011. A true privateer-gentleman run race team. Town Mouse has the car, has the funding and with a bit of sponsorship and an interesting car, it will be a challenge. Town Mouse will also have an FIA International race licence. Now how many candidates have something like that?
